For some time the emphasis in our society has been on the use of drugs to alleviate stress and anxiety.  Natural therapy, however, teaches people to overcome imbalances without resorting to habit forming and destructive chemical remedies.

Stress is a major cause of disease.  It causes blocked energies, muscle tension, structural disorders and malfunctioning of the systems and organs of the body.

Massage can help in many ways.  It is one of the oldest, simplest and most effective forms of healing.  The slow, rhythmic stroking of gentle, caring hands over the body in a systematic way is deeply soothing.  The body is relaxed, muscle tension is loosened, the circulation of blood and lymph is improved, symptoms of stress and anxiety are eased away and depression lifted.

Massage also helps to open the subtle energy centres of the body, so that energy can flow through the channels, easing the congestion which so often causes tiredness and disease.

You will be covered with warm sheets or towels throughout the consultation, exposing only the area of your body being massaged.  You will thus feel comfortable at all times in a secure environment.  Soothing background music can be played to help you feel relaxed and at ease.

The massage is gentle and deeply relaxing.  Soft and deep tissue massage can be applied to ease muscle spasm and to restore muscle and skin tone.

Each massage will leave you feeling calm, relaxed and refreshed; and will bring balance and harmony to your body as a whole.
